Your questions, answered!

1. What happens if my child misses a session?

Before a session, the team will send out prior readings and a lesson plan to parents. If a student cannot attend for any reason, they will have access to this resource and they are expected to utilse it to ensure they remain up to speed.

3. How will you monitor my child’s progress?

The management team get regular feedback from teachers for individual students. Based on the feedback we will formulate next steps in how we cater for the student. We will also relay back any feedback to parents where we feel it is necessary.

5. What age can my child enroll?

We generally take on students in year 10, year 11 and year 12 (resits). Although we are willing to take on year 9 students subject to assessment and under the discretion of the team at Ihsan Tuition.

7. What are the opening days and times for your tuition centre?

Our classes run every Saturday between 10am - 1pm for the Maths, English and Science package. And between 10am - 12pm for the Maths and English package.  For more information about opening / closing days and our academic calendar, please visit this page: Timetable

2. How much homework is expected to be done?

Subject teachers will set homework every week along side prior readings. Students are expected to complete homework to demonstrate their understanding. They are also expected to do prior reading, allowing them to be prepared for the upcoming session.

4. What will my child get for the monthly fee?

The monthly fee covers not only weekly sessions at our tuition centres but also includes the pre-reading and lesson plans we send out to parents on a weekly basis. Our maths, English & science tuition programmes are written by qualified and experienced subject specialists and are designed around the learning outcomes of the current National Curriculum.

6. How long are the weekly sessions at your tuition centres?

Generally, each student will attend our tuition centre for about 55 to 60 minutes per week per subject.
